Sensory Circuits For Regulation E-Learning

It’s designed for school staff supporting children with regulation and participation - including SENCOs/SEND leads, teachers, teaching assistants, pastoral and inclusion staff and Designated Teachers. You don’t need to be an OT or have specialist sensory knowledge to get started.

Around 2 hours in total, split into 7 bite-sized learning slices. You don’t need to complete it all at once - work through a slice when you have time and come back when you’re ready for the next one.

Slices have been purposefully designed to take 10-15 minutes - so you can choose how much you want - are you a one slice at a time kind of person? Or eat the whole pie at once?

You’ll have 12 months’ access, so there’s no pressure to remember everything first time. You can revisit particular slices whenever you need a refresher or want to come back to something in practice.

No. This course has been designed with real schools, real budgets and real staffing levels in mind. You’ll learn how to think about the purpose of movement and make thoughtful choices using the equipment and opportunities available to you.

It’s interactive, self-paced e-learning rather than hours of watching somebody talk at you. You can click through the learning, read or listen to the narration, explore practical examples and revisit sections whenever you need them.

Absolutely. The aim isn’t to teach you the theory and then leave you wondering, “Okay… but what do I actually do?” You’ll work through practical examples that help you see how the thinking can be applied and adapted for different children and situations.

The course includes a word document examples download - 13 pages, 6 case study examples of different children and examples of circuits, as well as examples of group circuits.

Yes. You’ll get practical downloads including a Sensory Circuit Planning Tool, Pre-Circuit Thinking resource, practice examples guide, Risk Assessment template, ideas for adding learning into circuits and a CPD Learning Journal to help you reflect on and evidence your learning.

Yes. An individual purchase includes one learner account and one CPD certificate on completion. This is automatically emailed to you on completion of the final slice.

An individual purchase is for one learner, so course logins, interactive learning and training content shouldn’t be copied or shared. However, designated downloadable implementation tools can be used with colleagues within your purchasing school for their intended educational use.

If several members of staff would like to complete the training themselves, the Whole School Bundle is £99 for up to 10 staff (for 12 months), giving each person their own access and CPD certificate, plus access to the bonus recorded 1-hour Sensory Circuits for Regulation training session.
